Welcome to the basic layout for the new campbartlett.com website. Not too much here, still needs to be customized. We're on a roll. Heavy changes expected until 2008-08-20 when it's released.
- A domain name has been procured. You're on it. I've thrown this initial page up for now, until things are launched.
- The forums are up, and most categories are created. This will be our story and experience repository. I have not applied the site theme to it. I have personally tested the forums and beta testing will now begin on the forums. Each forum member gets a little inter-forum e-mail. I'm looking for staff members (past or present) to be moderators in their area. Hit me up at moondog_13 at hotmail dot com if you wish to help.
- Wouldn't videos be cool? Saw some on youtube the other day. When things are rockin' and rollin' we'll see if the owners wouldn't mind us linking to them (or embedding them) in the site.
- The main site software has been chosen, but no content is in place and the theme isn't customized yet. I have some basic templates for the different areas of camp. I'm looking for people to help contribute content to those areas, preferably from staff members (past or present) as they have become very familiar with the areas of camp over the summer. Talk to me at moondog_13 at hotmail dot com if you wish to help. Beta testing should commence within a week.
- Picture gallery is almost up. I'm not sure how it will tie into forums or main site, however it'll be a great collecting place for, well, pictures. Testing should commence within a week, maybe two. This may induce more load on my little server than I'd like so we're going to play it by ear.
- E-mail accounts are a possibility. Probably only for site staff and moderators, possibly later for others. Let me know what you think.
