This hike is normally done to fulfill a requirement of the wilderness survival merit badge. It's similar to the poop loop, but deviates significantly part way through.
This hike incorporates the lightning tree, Old Ephraim's tree, and the lower Lake. Depending on the time of year and your guide you can see small cliffs, sunrise over the Bear Lake valley, and huckleberries.
This hike is not always available, nor advertised. It's a full day of hiking to get to the top of the tallest peak in the area. Overnight camp is setup after coming down from the peak, and the next day is a hike back to Bartlett.
